Thurifers Wanted: We will begin training new thurifers (the acolytes who “swing the pot”) on Sunday, August 10. Any acolyte interested in serving as a thurifer next year should come for training that Sunday. You must be trained in order to be scheduled to serve as a thurifer next year.
We welcome The Rev. Charles Culpepper, Vicar of St. Alexis Episcopal Church at the 8:40 & 11:05 a.m. services.
Our cook, Petra Chatman, will provide a cooked breakfast each Sunday morning in the Oakridge Hall. Breakfast will be available starting at 8:00 to 10:45 a.m. Cost: $6/Adult; $4/children 7 and under. Peanut Oil is no longer being used for food preparation.
