No Nursery, No Breakfast, No Sunday School……Just Jesus!
Sunday, August 3rd, 2008Join us for Lemonade Sunday (A new major feast in the Church’s Calendar): One of the problems with major building projects every fifty years is that you tend to forget where stuff is buried. Take the major electrical line into the church building. Turns out it was cut while digging a gooting for Fowler Hall, our new parish hall named for Jimmy and Frances Fowler. Digging through the line completely fried the main breaker box into the church and Gray Hall. In the short term, that means that we will worship together this Sunday, August 3rd at our usual times in Oakridge Hall. We’re calling it Lemonade Sunday because we’re making lemonade out of lemons. After each service, we’ll have fresh lemonade and cookies. Provision for children is also being made. Hey, it’ll be fun! (And, like the rest of the construction chaos, it will be temporary.)
