TGIF Bible Study will meet on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon in the Guild Parlor.  Led by The Rev. Minka Sprague.

John Gibson will again lead a Lenten Book Study group.  The book will be Joseph Campbell’s Thou Art That - Transforming Religious Metaphor.  The book discusses how metaphor and symbol help us experience the mystery of God.  The meetings will be Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. (Feb. 14, 21, 28, and March 6.)  Sign up at the Church Office.  The books, costing $14 each, will be ordered.  THIRD THURSDAY BOOK STUDIES, facilitated by Minka Sprague, will resume sometime after Easter, as soon as we can see available evenings and rooms in this new time at St. James’.

The Weekly Centering Prayer Support Group is now meeting in the small Chapel in Church on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. You may enter from the door opening to the street side of the church. For reference we will use the book: Open Mind Open Heart by Thomas Keating. For those not familiar with Centering Prayer this book will answer your questions.
