The Weekly Centering Prayer Support Group is now meeting in the Moyer Room in Gray Hall on Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.  We are now taking a few minutes listening to a tape on meditation, as well as sharing the experience of our practice of Centering Prayer. The last 20 minutes or so of the hour is reserved for doing Centering Prayer.  If you desire to know more apophatic prayer, please feel free to come.  With the Bishop’s support, the Rev. Tom Ward is now scheduled on Saturday, September 8 to lead a one day workshop on Centering Prayer.  The Rev. Tom Ward is from Sewanee, and a long time practitioner of Centering Prayer.  He is a dynamic speaker, and it is inspirational to hear his words on Centering prayer.  Please plan to attend this enjoyable one day workshop with lunch included.
