The E.C.W. Advent Wine & Cheese Party will be on Thursday, December 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the home of Lauren & Christopher Powell.  1311 Riverside Drive in Belhaven.  Parking will be available across the street in the JPS parking lot.
Donations will be taken at the door to benefit The Center for Violence Prevention. 
Every nine seconds, a woman is abused in the United States!  The Center for Violence Prevention, located in Pearl, is caring for abused women and children.  Their mission is to have a safe place for these women and children to come for shelter, counseling, legal assistance, and, most importantly, hope.  The shelter serves eight surrounding counties: Hinds, Madison, Rankin, Yazoo, Sharkey, Issaquena, Simpson, and Warren.  Counselors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to assist. 

Men’s Luncheon will meet on Thursday, December 7 at 12:00 noon in the Dining Room.  Speaker: Dr. Francis Lucas on “Life at Millsaps”

Tapes & Talk Group will meet on Thursday, December 7 at 9:30 a.m. in the Guild Parlor. Tapes & Talk meets each month on the 1st Thursday.
