AIDS Memorial Quilt

St. James’ is hosting an exhibit of the AIDS Memorial Quilt in the Church from November 26 through December 1, 2006.  We have requested that Mississippi memorials be included in the sections we exhibit.  The Church will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. to view the quilt.  Appointments may be made to view the quilt during the day by calling the Church Office.  Free HIV Rapid Screening will be available in the Chapel from 5 to 7 p.m.  Each night a Prayer Service will be offered at 7 p.m. where names will be read.  If you have a name you would like to add to the list to be read at the Prayer Services, please contact Tammie Stephens at the Church Office, 601-982-4880 or tstephens@stjamesjackson.org

Junior High Girls Bible Study

The Girls Bible Study is still meeting every Wednesday night from 6-7 in the Guild Parlor.  We’re starting something new called Jesus T.V. where we watch popular T.V. shows and relate them to the bible and everyday life.  Popcorn and drinks are served!!

Wednesday Night Parish Supper

Parish Supper on Wednesday evenings, 5:15-6:45 p.m. in the Parish Hall.  Cost: $6/adult; $3/children 12 & under; $20/family maximum.  Menu for November 29: Fried Catfish with Hushpuppies, Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli, Rolls, Salad Bar, Assorted Desserts.
