TGIF Bible Study will meet on Friday, September 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon in the Guild Parlor.  Led by The Rev. Minka Sprague.

“Christians and Poverty” - a four week reading and discussion series facilitated by Darby Ray, Millsaps professor and St. James’ parishioner.  Combining Bible study, social and economic analysis, and stories of real people, this series aims to spark discussion, thought, and action about how Christians can/should address poverty in all its forms.  Very modest reading assignments for each session.  Cost for reading materials is $5.  Class will meet September 14, 21, 28, and October 5 from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. in the Guild Parlor.  Call the church office (601-982-4880) to reserve your spot by September 7 so reading materials may be ordered.

Girls ONLY Bible Study!!!  Junior high girls are getting together for their own bible study!  Girls we’re going to focus on our friends, our family and the scriptures.  We’re going to meet on Wednesday nights in the Youth House from 6 to 7 p.m.  It’s going to be lots of fun so invite all your friends!!
